Welcome to SL #2 - our podcast for December, 2006!

In this show, we focus on the gaming and digital entertainment industry in Georgia. What areas should entrepreneurs be exploring? Can two guys in a garage still compete with the big game publishers and studios? What are the big trends? How are virtual worlds evolving? Is the consumer/user demographic shifting?

Unfortunately, there was a little bit of natural room reverb in parts of the show - this was due to the addition of the third mic for our guest. It still sounds fine, but just a niggling little detail. Don’t worry, we’ll get that little kink worked out for the next show!

Our format is a little out of the norm as far as podcasts go. We treat our efforts as a true “show” rather than a super-concise (limited) vehicle for delivery of information. Therefore, the podcasts can run a bit long. While we try to have very substantive discussions, we also try to have a lot of fun along the way (and that tends to elongate the programming a wee bit.) Our theory is that if we are having fun during the show, hopefully, you will be having a little fun listening as well.
