StartupLounge.com is a grassroots organization (and podcast) started by two knuckleheads who want to make a difference for fast-growth entrepreneurs who aren't fortunate enough to live in Silicon Valley. Recorded in Atlanta, Georgia, the podcast focuses on bootstrapping, venture capital, angel investing, and other issues of interest to the entrepreneur. The show features informative guests, interactive discussions, and a nice dash of humor.

Thought the meeting was great with a lot of energy in the room! The technology was new and the investors seemed really interested in what your company had to offer to the market. Good event worth going to!

I can't believe you could do better than the first! Great group of people. And you're two for two in attracting rain to Atlanta. Keep it up (not necessary to continue bringing rain however).

Scott & Mike,

Congratulations on a successful event. What a great idea to keep it going quarterly. Although I didn't make any meaningful contact with potential investors, I did meet a possible supplier for our venture - one of your exhibitors.

Thanks,

Tom

PS - The food was great - made the bar worth paying for any day.

Hi Randy, and thanks for attending!

We don't intentionally position either event to the dot com or technology crowd. I think the events tend to skew that way just due to the large number of Atlanta entrepreneurs in that space. I think it is more reflective of the community, rather than the nature of the event.

We try to mix up the deals in the room by including biotech, pharma, healthcare, entertainment, and consumer deals in the mix.

Hope that makes sense!

Cheers.

Great Job Guys !! Both with Pitchcamp and Capital Connection. I had to leave Pitchcamp early because of a previous appointment (and the time change) but learned much in the short time I was there.

Both events seem to be geared to the dot com crowd. You guys have enough great information to share that you should open them up more.

Anyone who can't or won't pay for a $ 3 beer (free food and venue) will never be able to start and run a decent company. THANKS !
